About the role:
An FX Sales Trader plays a crucial role in the financial markets, particularly in the foreign exchange (FX) sector. This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
As an FX Sales Trader, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively identifying, prospecting and acquiring new corporate clients through cold calling, networking, referrals and other business development activities.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and converting opportunities into revenue-generating clients.
- Achieving and exceeding individual sales and revenue targets through consistent business development activity.
- Promoting a range of FX products, including Spot, Forwards, NDFs and FX Options.
- Collaborating closely with the Dealing team to deliver competitive pricing and risk management solutions to clients.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to grow market share and expand the client base.
- Identifying opportunities to increase wallet share and deepen existing client relationships.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activity, client interactions and pipeline progression within the CRM system.
- Working closely with Compliance, Operations and Dealing teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and client experience.

Essential experience & skills:
We want to set you up for success and we believe these experiences and skills will help you thrive in this role:
- Proven track record of generating new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting and client acquisition
- Minimum 3 years' experience in FX sales, corporate banking or a related financial services sales environment
- Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets
- Experience selling FX and risk management solutions to SMEs and Mid-Corporates
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
- Highly motivated, resilient and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working for a commercial bank, FX broker or non-bank FX provider is preferred
Salary range: Euro 30,000 - 40,000
